Create Wedding Favors With Style
Giving
wedding favors to your guests is a traditional way to say thank you for
their support. Having your closed acquaintances at your side to witness
your golden moment can leave lasting memories long after the champagne
bubbles scatters. But deciding what gift to offer your guests is not
always an easy decision to make. Sometimes you might think that it is
too little or inexpensive, or too tacky for your guests. However,
unless your guests are avid collectors of wedding favors, you have
nothing to worry about. Most guests would just as well be happy with no
favor, as opposed to whatever you have to offer. It's the thought that
counts, and you should move on and decide on something that fits the
occasion.
Indeed,
there is an
assortment of wedding favors to choose from, and whatever the type,
these come in a mixture of colors, styles, weight, and so on. But it
doesn't mean that you can just go out a week before your wedding day
and buy something. You have to put some thought into it, and it would
be better if you shop early in case you have to deal with production
delays, or backorders, or lost shipments.
You also get
the best
price if you shop early. If your wedding is in the spring, plan to
visit the various stores that carry suitable wedding favors a few
months in advance. You would also do better if you visit the specialty
stores where you will get a wider assortment of products to choose
from. In addition, because these stores regularly carry just party or
wedding favors basis, you have a better chance of having your selection
available when you need it. Even if your selection is out of stock,
they can bring them in on short notice because they know they will be
sell the remaining inventory within their normal operating cycle.
Your choice
of wedding
favors will depend on your wedding theme, if you decide on one. If you
do, chose a favors that complement the theme. Wedding themes are
becoming popular and couples chose them based on some affinity with
their passion in life, or to commemorate their commitment to an
activity they take part in. For example, if you play sports you can
come up with a sports theme, or you can you select a theme that depicts
a movie or a particular time of the year. A Valentine's day theme comes
to mind.
Here is a
list of wedding
favors that can get your imagination stirring. Use them as a guide to
selecting special favors for your guests: Wedding cameras, scented
soaps, mints, coasters, napkins, decorated boxes, Asian
spoons,
wine stoppers, key chains, chopsticks, candles, brocade boxes, and a
lot more... If your wedding has a golf them, you can offer personalized
golf tees, drink stick stirrers, golf collection mints, and of course
golf balls.
It is good culture to always say thank you to the people who matter.
And what better way to say thank you to your guest than by giving them
some memorable wedding favors.
